I went to microsoft support for issue as my laptop would restart when playing games, after a while the support agent said they downloaded the latest HP Drivers but it still isnt working

Hi @Jack_Fitzpat,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
 

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you have trouble using the pc while playing games. The pc reboots, and you still have trouble even after the driver update. Sorry to hear about the problem you are facing.

Please try the basic step and once done, see if this helps and let me knwo the BIOS version running and GPU version installed so I can try to get more help.

BIOS Restore :
1) Shut down the computer, keep the  charger plugged in
2) Hold down the Windows and B buttons together while the computer is still turned off.  
3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B buttons until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.  
4) Follow the on-screen instructions and click on OK
