I went through my storage and deleted useless files and apps I have no used in a while making a total of over 50 gigabytes of space. Then I proceeded to begin downloading Detroit: Becoming Human from Steam. It was about 13-14 gigabytes into the download when it paused and refused to resume. I restarted my computer and proceeded to find I only at 14 gigabytes worth of space available. I went through my files and found nothing that seemed new and have troubleshooted and restarted several times trying to find the lost space with no success. My recycling bin has already been cleared, and I don't know what else to do, please help!

Try RIght click Hard Drive ( usually C: ) and goto Properties.

General Tab , go down to the right and choose Disk Clean Up. Then choose Clean Up System File (bottom left)

See if there are any large files here....if so, delete them.

Gave it a try, but only found 175 mb. I also looked up the amount of all my files and it was less than it showed on the storage amount.

Here are some things you can do to recover some of the disk space:

Also, the community Win10 Forums has the following suggestions:

Finally, there is a freeware app known as Wise Disk Cleaner. I use it every day to get rid of junk files: https://www.wisecleaner.com/wise-disk-cleaner.html
