HP Recommended
HP Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Pretty much exactly what the title describes.

Before this happened, I opened up my Display settings with the monitor plugged in and working fully. Then, I changed my primary display settings to a lower resolution so I could drag a program across my acer monitor (which has lower resolution) and my spectre's screen. That worked fine.

After restarting my laptop, the HP spectre now refuses to detect my acer monitor. Instead, my HP's screen goes ballistic, as if the resolution is being interchanged from high to low to high every second, and the cursor gets reset to the center of the screen each time as well, rendering the laptop unusable. This continues indefinitely until I unplug the monitor cable from the Spectre.

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. Thank you
