So the issue is that there is no pointer visible. I use a USB mouse to operate my laptop and the pointer pops up as soon as the USB mouse is plugged in. I can't really say when exactly the problem started but it's been a while now. Many months easily. I tried uninstalling the driver when the problem first popped up and downloaded drivers manually as well but nothing worked and honestly I don't know where I stand. I just reset my laptop expecting the problem to be fixed but that didn't work

And I've trolled other threads dealing with similar issues as well but didn't help exactly.  I can post any details you might need to help me out. I really hope someone can help me out.

I would delete this post if I could, but I dont know how. Anyway I tinkered around and I fixed it. I would tell you what I did exactly to help anyone with a similar problem but I honestly don't know what I did. Just reset and tried to uninstall/re install drivers.
Facing issues with my graphics card now but thats a different post.

After messing around some more I can see the pointer now but the touchpad is unresponsive.
