Hi. I just got an Envy 13. I would like to make the trackpad scroll more lines at once. In my previous laptops I've been able to do this in the following setting (pic below). But regardless of how I change this setting, the trackpad scroll speed is the same. I tried plugging in a real mouse, and the real mouse scroll did respond to changing this setting.
I have tried changing other settings, and the trackpad seems to respond to those. So it is only the scroll speed that the trackpad is not responding to. I have tried updating the synaptics trackpad driver, and it says it is already up to date. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

@SW2858 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that the mouse scroll setting won't stay.
Click on Windows key and R key and type regedit.exe
Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install
Note this is a LOCAL MACHINE, not CURRENT USER.
Look for a key in that Install folder called DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade
Double click and change the value to 0
Now go back to the Synaptics control panel, set everything how you like, and reboot. See if it holds. It is holding on mine, still, have to test on another computer.
Please refer to the following link to Using the TouchPad or ClickPad.
