Help please. My mouse keep auto moving to the coner of the screen. I can be doing work and Bam. It’s at the corner. I have actually exited out of important documents by accident because of this mouse. Any help?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824  (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
  • Have you tried with a different mouse?

While you respond to that, let's try this workaround:

Perform a Hard reset on the notebook: A power reset (or hard restart) clears all information from the computer's memory without erasing any personal data.

Next Step: BIOS Defaults - (After hard reset follow the below steps while starting the computer)
1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.
3) Press F10 once for BIOS.
4) Press F9 for BIOS defaults.
5) Press F10 to save and exit. this should fix the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
