Hello.

I am looking for help regarding my inability to  utilize various keys on my keyboard. The specific keys are the directional arrows, the keys above the directional arrows (INSERT, HOME, PAGE UP, DELETE, END, PAGE DOWN), some keys on the numpad on the right (NUM LOCK, /, and ENTER), and the CAPS LOCK on the left. The issue started in late October with a Corsair K60 keyboard that I had purchased in January 2023. I did some minimal troubleshooting when the issue first arose and decided that I would purchase a second brand new Corsair K60 keyboard. The new Corsair keyboard had the same exact issue since it was set up. I tested both of the keyboards on a separate computer, and both worked perfectly fine. All of the RGB lighting on the keyboards work, and neither has any specific damage to account for the issues.

I have taken numerous steps to try to fix the issue:

  • Uninstalled and reinstalled various versions of iCUE (the Corsair software) while deleting possible corrupt files
  • Updated Windows with both required and optional updates
  • Tried the keyboard in multiple USB ports
  • Tested the keyboard with the HP Support Diagnostic Tool (error ID: 6C7SJX-000BRK-QFFX1G-G1ML13)
  • Manually reset the keyboard
  • Attempted resolve various accessibility issues within the Settings menu
  • Updated the BIOS
  • Updated the keyboard firmware

I have been unable to perform a system restore to a date prior to the issue arising as my last restore point was 10/31, which is after the issue arose. The other thing to note is that when I entered the "BIOS Setup", I was able to navigate the menu utilizing the directional arrows. After leaving the "BIOS Setup", I was once again unable to use the keys.

I have reached out to Corsair who were able to guide me through much of the troubleshooting above, but they were unable to aid further when it became apparent that the issue was not the keyboard itself.

Any help would be appreciated.
