My computer screen broke and I have no idea how to fix it. Can anybody help?

Replacing a screen in a notebook is a very complex and risky procedure -- not one you should attempt yourself if you are inexperienced in servicing laptops.

Also, unfortunately, accidental breakage of a notebook screen is generally NOT covered under the HP warranty. So, you would most likely have to pay HP to examine the notebook and do any repairs -- and unless it is brand new, those costs are likely to exceed the cost of replacing the notebook.

Sorry, but this is just a self-help forum staffed mostly by volunteers and we are neither able, nor permitted, to provide any repair estimates.

For that information, you would need to contact an HP Repair or Service Center.
If you live in the U.S., here is a link to the HP Service Repair Centers:

Good Luck
