HP Recommended

I bought System Model HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15-ed0xxx solely to edit videos. I have tried to use DaVinci Resolve, Windows Video Editor and Clip Champ and NONE  will run smoothly on my laptop. I've tried upgrading the OS, uninstalling and reinstalling the software, even working solely form an external hard drive to save on space, and still the laptop cannot run the software without glitching or crashing. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Memory - 16gigs

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1065G7 CPU @ 1.30GHz, 1498 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
