Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After the latest Windows 10 update,  I ran the HP support assistant.  Under software and drivers it said that updates were available.  This included a BIOS update.  Is this safe to do?  Is it safe to select all and download and install as long as I have a good internet connection and have the laptop plugged in?  The laptop does not have an ethernet connection.

@LSue1,

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know whether it is safe to install the update from HP support assistant.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Yes, it is safe to install the updates from HP support assistant and HP recommends installing the updates using HP support assistant as it searches automatically for the latest drivers and software available for your computer.

Refer to the below article for more information on how to use the HP support assistant.
