Hi @FaithBKK,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP laptop might be having a power or hardware issue. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot.

Check the Power Supply:

  • Ensure the power adapter is properly connected to both the laptop and the power outlet.
  • Check if the power cord or adapter is damaged. If possible, try using a different power adapter.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the power adapter.
  • Remove the battery if it’s removable (if applicable).
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15-20 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power adapter and try turning on the laptop again.

Check for Charging Indicators:

  • Plug in the power adapter and check if any charging indicators (like LED lights) turn on or if the laptop shows any signs of life.

Inspect the Laptop:

  • Look for any physical damage to the laptop or power ports.
  • Ensure that no external devices are connected to the laptop.

Try a Different Power Source:

  • Plug the power adapter into a different outlet or try using a different power cable.

Remove External Devices:

  • Disconnect any external devices (USB drives, external hard drives, etc.) and try turning on the laptop.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
