@EnvyHam, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Hp envy x360 core i7 noise!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Check the Power Adapter and Cable:
- Ensure the power adapter and cable are not damaged. If you notice any frayed wires or loose connections, replace the adapter immediately.
- Try using a different compatible power adapter to see if the issue persists.
Check the Power Outlet:
- Plug your charger into a different power outlet to rule out any issues with the current outlet.
Battery and Fast Charging:
- If your laptop supports fast charging, like many HP ENVY models, try disabling fast charging settings in the BIOS or power management settings to see if it reduces the noise.
Update BIOS and Drivers:
- Ensure that your BIOS and all relevant drivers are updated. Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve power-related issues.
Check for Built-in Diagnostics:
- Use HP Diagnostics tools to run hardware tests. It might help identify any problematic components.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
