I have a wireless mouse plugged into my HP Envy 13-ab002na but occasionally the mouse will just stop clicking things. For instance, the mouse will interact when hovering over a link, but when clicked nothing will happen and I have to resort to using the touchpad.
I am certain this is a software issue as I have tried this with multiple mice, and the same problem occurs with my touchpad (but at a lower rate).
I have checked, and I appear to have downloaded all the drivers relating to the mouse/touchpad, but the problem occurs. I even factory reset my PC and the problem still occurs.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the wireless mouse and touchpad stop clicking randomly.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.
BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp105501-106000/sp105612.exe
Chipset: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp105501-106000/sp105787.exe
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
