Hi @Yuva327,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like there might be a calibration issue with your battery or a setting that needs adjustment. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot this issue.

  • Reset Your Laptop: Sometimes a simple restart can fix charging issues. Try shutting down your laptop completely and then turn it back on.
  • Update Drivers: Ensure that your laptop's BIOS and battery drivers are up to date. Sometimes outdated drivers can cause charging problems.
  • Check Power Settings: Go to your laptop's power settings and make sure there isn't a setting that limits charging to a certain percentage.
  • Calibrate Your Battery: Sometimes recalibrating the battery can resolve charging problems. You can do this by letting the battery drain completely until the laptop shuts down, then fully charge it without interruption.
  • Inspect the Charger and Ports: Make sure your charger and charging ports are clean and free of debris. A faulty charger or port can also cause charging issues.
  • Battery Health Check: Use HP's battery health diagnostic tool or similar software to check the health of your battery. This can give you more insight into whether the issue is with the battery itself.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
