When i place my 32GB SD card into the adaptor and insert it into my computer, the computer reads the information on the card. But. when i do the same with my 64GB SD card, my computer wont rread it. I have searched the device manager menu and there is a yellow triangle with an excamation mark in there. I then click on it and there is a message saying "This device cannot start" (Code 10). I am at a loss as to what to do to get my computer to read my card. The card can be read through my camera, which suggests there is nothing wrong with the card?

Unfortunately, not all "SD" cards use the same format, nor are they of the same type.
In the case of 32GB cards and 64GB cards, one is likely to be SDHC and the other SDXC, and from your description, it sounds like your adapter can not handle both of these types, while the camera can.
You would need to try a different adapter.

Sorry, that was a typo on my part -- meant SDXC. Since your adapter claims to be compatible with both, don't know what to tell you.
I run into the same problems with SD cards, so I keep several different adapters lying around. One of they always works.

Thanks for the clarity. I assumed this was the case. The card can be read through my camera so it isn't the end of the world, but i just expected it to work through the adaptor as its a new computer and a new card and adaptor. Something i just have to deal with i suppose.
Thanks again
