My frames keep dropping randomly whenever Im playing a game and have my charger plugged in

HP Recommended
Pavilion 15t-cs300
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Whenever I try and play any game on my computer, it runs perfectly fine, but as soon as I start charging my laptop, the game randomly keeps dropping to 2 to 3 Frames per Second, and it gets really annoying at times. I've tried everything I could, optimizing GPU, CPU, etc. but nothing worked. I really need help with this. This started about 1 week ago. Could someone please help me with this issue? Thanks!
