My hp laptop adaptor wide range of input is 100-240v-1.4A, 50-60hz Output:19.5 v_2.31 A 45.w can I use power cable with 6A 250 v input and 2.5A 250 v output

I know 6A is enough but to avoid any nasty incidents, please use STANDARD 10A power cord.
