iam writing this so that i could gain any answers or any solution as there are none problems like mine

so what happened was:

The Intel Integrated GPU that originally came with my laptop is no longer detected by the system. The laptop only detects the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU. Even after performing a complete reinstallation of Windows, the integrated GPU is still missing.

I have already completed all of the standard troubleshooting procedures, including:

  • Clean installation of Windows 11 (Version 25H2)
  • Installation of all Windows Updates
  • Installation of the latest Intel Graphics Driver
  • Installation of the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU Driver
  • Installation of the Intel Chipset Driver
  • Installation of the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver
  • Installation of the Intel Serial IO Driver
  • Installation of all HP-recommended drivers available for my product
  • Multiple system restarts after each installation

Despite these efforts, the issue remains unresolved.

Current Problems

  • The Intel Integrated GPU is completely missing from Device Manager.
  • Even when "Show hidden devices" is enabled, the Intel GPU does not appear.
  • Intel Graphics Driver installation either fails or completes successfully without detecting any Intel graphics hardware.
  • Only the NVIDIA RTX 3050 Laptop GPU is visible.
  • Reinstalling Windows has not resolved the problem.

In addition, I have experienced several related issues during this process, including:

  • Automatic Repair loops.
  • Boot failures requiring Windows recovery.
  • Display instability and screen-related issues after driver installations.
  • System crashes while attempting to install or update graphics drivers.
  1. Why is the Intel Integrated GPU no longer detected?
  2. Could this indicate a BIOS configuration issue, motherboard fault, CPU issue, or another hardware failure?
  3. Is there any HP-specific BIOS update, firmware update, or recovery procedure that can restore the missing integrated GPU?
  4. If this is determined to be a hardware failure, what repair options are available for my laptop?

Laptop Details

  • Model: HP Victus 15-fa0000 (599K0AV)

I have invested considerable time reinstalling Windows and reinstalling all recommended drivers without success.

someone could please tell me what i can do now

Hi,

Since you already performed a clean Windows installation and installed HP, Intel, chipset, MEI, Serial IO, and NVIDIA drivers, I would not treat this as a simple missing driver issue.

On this type of gaming laptop, the first thing I would check is whether the system is running in Discrete GPU only mode. If the laptop is set to Discrete mode through OMEN Gaming Hub / Graphics Switcher, the Intel integrated GPU may not appear the same way it does in Hybrid/Optimus mode.

Please try this order:

  1. Open OMEN Gaming Hub and check for Graphics Switcher.
If available, set it to Hybrid mode, restart the laptop, then check Device Manager again.
  2. Enter BIOS Setup:
    • Restart the laptop.
    • Press F10 repeatedly.
    • Load BIOS Setup Defaults.
    • Save and restart.
  3. In Device Manager:
    • View > Show hidden devices
    • Check Display adapters and System devices
    • Also check for unknown PCI devices.
  4. Install updates only from HP for the exact product number 599K0AV:
    • BIOS
    • Intel chipset
    • Intel MEI
    • Intel Serial IO
    • Intel graphics
    • NVIDIA graphics
    • OMEN Gaming Hub / OMEN Gaming Hub SDK, if listed.
  5. Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI:
    • Power on and press Esc
    • Press F2
    • Run System Test / Extensive Test.
  6. If possible, boot a Linux live USB and check whether the Intel GPU appears there.
If the Intel iGPU is missing in both Windows and Linux, after BIOS defaults and Hybrid mode, that strongly points away from Windows drivers.

If the Intel GPU still does not appear anywhere, then the likely causes are:

  • BIOS/firmware configuration problem,
  • Graphics Switcher stuck in Discrete mode,
  • corrupted platform firmware state,
  • motherboard issue,
  • or CPU/iGPU-related hardware failure.

In short, if Hybrid mode is enabled and BIOS defaults are loaded but the Intel iGPU is still not detected after a clean OS install, this should be escalated to HP as a firmware/hardware detection issue, not another driver reinstall case.
