Hi @Kevds,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your keyboard on the HP Envy x360. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem.
- Restart your laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor issues. Shut down your laptop, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Check for physical damage: Ensure that there are no visible signs of physical damage to the keyboard, such as spilled liquids or damaged keys.
- Update keyboard drivers: Go to Device Manager, locate the keyboard under "Keyboards," right-click on it, and select "Update driver." Follow the on-screen instructions to update the driver.
- Uninstall and reinstall keyboard drivers: In Device Manager, uninstall the keyboard drivers, restart your laptop, and let Windows reinstall the drivers automatically.
- Check for software conflicts: Some third-party software or applications may interfere with the keyboard functionality. Try booting your laptop in Safe Mode to see if the issue persists.
- Run Windows Update: Make sure your operating system is up to date by running Windows Update. Sometimes, driver updates can be included in these updates.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, there may be a hardware problem with the keyboard,
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
