@Jordanb0121, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like your HP 14-cf2000 laptop may have encountered a power failure or corruption during the update. Try these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
Perform a Hard Reset
Turn off the laptop by holding the power button for at least 15 seconds.
Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain residual power.
Reconnect the battery and adapter, then try turning it on.
Check for Signs of Power
If the power LED is on, but there's no display, try connecting an external monitor to check if the issue is with the laptop screen.
If there’s no power at all, try using a different charger.
Try BIOS Recovery
Turn off the laptop.
Press and hold the Windows + B keys, then press and hold the power button for about 2-3 seconds.
Release the power button but keep holding Windows + B until you hear a beep or see the BIOS recovery screen.
Follow on-screen instructions to restore the BIOS.
Boot into Safe Mode
Turn off the laptop.
Turn it on and immediately start pressing F8 (or Shift + F8) repeatedly.
If the Advanced Startup Options appear, choose Safe Mode and restore the system.
Let me know how it goes!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
