My HP ENVY x360 laptop is blocking attachments sent to me with emails.  I can see the attachments on my Android mobile phone only. However, I need to be able to get these attachments on my laptop. How can I fix this?

@Boomer6 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are unable to open the attachment.

1. By Windows Mail, are you referring to the Mail app, Windows Live Mail or Outlook Mail?

2. If you are referring to Windows Mail app, how many email accounts are configured on it?

3. Are you facing this issue on all the accounts setup on the Mail app?

4. Do you get the option to open or save the attatchments?

5. Have you tried opening the attachments via a webmail?

Please try to 'Save' the attachement and then try to open the files.

If you getting the options to save the attachent, then, you can click the down-arrow at the top next to This PC ▼ to select other locations.

Please provide us more information on the issue you are facing to help you better.
