Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I'm using a hp pavillion windos 11. So what happened was my touchpad stopped working so I went to the settings and downloaded the updates and restarted but still it did not work so I restarted once more but it did not work then all of a sudden the apps I clicked also stopped working so I shut down the laptop and switched it on again and now it is stuck at preparing windows. What should I do?
