@Pratiyush11, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding change of laptop language!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like your laptop's language has been altered, which can affect how characters are displayed when you type. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

Change Keyboard Language Settings:

  • Go to Settings on your laptop.
  • Select Time & Language.
  • Click on Language.
  • Under Preferred languages, ensure that your desired language is at the top. If it's not, you can add a language and remove the one you don't want.

Adjust Keyboard Layout:

  • In the Language settings, select Options for your preferred language.
  • Ensure the correct keyboard layout is selected. You may need to add or remove different layouts.

Reset Language Input:

  • Sometimes using the shortcut Alt + Shift may switch between installed keyboard layouts. Try this to see if it resolves your issue.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
