Best suggestion: don't do anything until you have to <<< based on a bad experience. Anyway, first thing to do if you get blue screen is updating your drivers. If you don't get blue screen and your laptop shuts down unexpectedly, go to settings > type "view advanced system settings" > advanced tab > recovery > settings > uncheck "automatically restart" box on system failure box. This will show what happened exactly before your computer shut down.

Blue screen has hundreds -I believe- of reasons to pop up. The reason why it's keep appearing will be written on the bottom of the screen, try to read it or capture it using your phone camera then tell me what you got.

What was the error and what did you do?

It had something to do with the BIOS. Unplugged it,completely powered down, powered back up while pushing the f8, i think till i saw the reboot screen come up. Had HP install something, cant remember. Oh and reinstalled windows again. But its working. Any suggestions on how to prevent this would be appreciated.
