@Cesar45, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Omen webcam not working!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Let’s try a few more steps to see if we can get it working again:

Check if the Webcam is Enabled in Device Manager

  1. Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager.
  2. Expand Imaging Devices or Cameras.
  3. If you see your webcam listed, right-click on it and select Enable (if available).
  4. If it’s not listed or shows an error, try the next step.

Update or Reinstall the Driver

  1. In Device Manager, right-click on the webcam (if visible).
  2. Select Update driverSearch automatically for drivers.
  3. If no update is found or it’s not listed, try uninstalling it:
    • Right-click the webcam and select Uninstall device.
    • Restart your laptop — Windows should automatically reinstall the driver.

Download the Latest Driver from HP’s Website

  • Go to the HP Support website and search for your model HP Omen 15-ek0062la.
  • Look for the latest camera driver available for your device and install it.

Check Privacy Settings

  1. Open SettingsPrivacy & securityCamera.
  2. Make sure Camera access is enabled for both the system and the apps you want to use.

BIOS Reset (Optional)

If nothing works, you can try resetting the BIOS to default settings:

  1. Restart your laptop and press F10 to enter the BIOS.
  2. Select Restore DefaultsSave and Exit.

Give these steps a try, and let me know if you’re still facing issues — happy to help further! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
