my product is HP 15 ac047tu, i am getting issues that there is no drivers page for my laptop, i get no drivers error, can you please fix the issue?

The reason there are no drivers for your notebook is because HP has retired support for the model series since it is more than 10 years old.

The good news is you can use the drivers and software from the equivalent HP business class model--the 250 G4:

Do not use the latest BIOS update though because that is only for the 250 G4.

The latest BIOS for your notebook was F.29.

Thank you so much for helping me to find drivers, I should only have to go to https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp96501-97000/sp96831.exe for my BIOS. All drivers are there but I wonder why there are no Webcam drivers in that page? If you wanted the exact product id or product name, it's just HP Notebook 15 ac047TU and product id is M9V07PA#ACJ. But still thanks for the other drivers!

You're very welcome.

Normally, there are no webcam drivers on any HP support page for any notebook because the webcams are USB powered and don't need drivers.

As long as the USB ports work, the webcam should work too.

There are only webcam drivers for some older notebooks.

If your notebook's webcam isn't working, you can try the W10 HP universal camera driver from the link below:

Thank you for giving the camera driver. Actually I am a PC Technician and i almost forgot that Camera is just "USB Port" Generally. I have some doubts:

1. Why I cannot use the BIOS given for 250 G4 on my notebook as my motherboard of my ac047TU is 80C1 and when I extract the InsydeFlash.exe using 7zip, I saw 080C1.bin. Since BIOS is nothing but drivers for the motherboard and tell how it should work, why I cannot install I am curious to know. Even when InsydeFlash to see is it compatible I am surprised that the InsydeFlash told installable but I was scared even if it works, if it works, if my PC overheats. Why i should not install even if it says I can install?

2. Even if 250G4 and ac047TU is released roughly the same time why HP did not give drivers not only for my model but for entire AC series?

3. Is the RAM used is DDR3 laptop and the storage used is SATA 2.5 Inch? the cpu used is i3 5010U, then which type socket it uses? can i upgrade the CPU?

That is it! I needed only that much info. Upgrading the notebooks are better than getting a new one as it both has Unified Extensible Firmware Interface and Basic Input/Output System via CSM.

The release notes for the BIOS update indicates it is only for the 250 G4.

If the motherboard ID in the BIOS is the same as it is in your PC, perhaps it will work but that is a risk you will have to take.

My understanding is the last BIOS update for the 15-acXXX series was F.29.

HP retires support for consumer notebooks at the 10-year mark.

The 15-ac model series is over 10 years old.

For the business class PCs such at the 250 G4 the support lifecycle is longer--15 years or thereabouts.

The notebook uses DDR3L-1600 (1.35V) memory and if your notebook has an i3 5010U processor, then it supports up to 2 x 8 GB of memory.

The drive is 2.5" and you can replace it with a 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).

There is no M.2 slot to support a M.2 SSD.

The notebook uses the same service manual as the 250 G4, and is described on the cover page as 'HP Notebook PC (Intel)'

Also, the Camera of this notebook does not work, I am certain its hardware issue, not driver issue, as there are no yellow warning signs in device manager, and not working against many OSes like Windows 8.1, 10, 11, 7, Ubuntu, Arch Linux etc. In the ac series region, where the faults will be there. I do not close the notebook frequently, but I do not know where the camera is having faults, USB ports work fine, Bluetooth works fine but the Camera is not working, in the HP ac000 series where is the issue commonly and how to diagnose it?

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about troubleshooting webcam issues.

Sometimes the webcam cable is the issue--broken or disconnected from the system board.

I forgot to answer your other question regarding whether or not the processor is upgradable.

The processor is an integral part of the system board and cannot be upgraded.

You'd have to install a motherboard from another 250 G4/15-ac notebook that comes with a better processor.

Those are listed in chapter 3 of the service manual.

All Intel 5th gen core and newer notebook processors are integral parts of the motherboard.
