Hi @MOAZZAM5,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Notebook 14s-dr1008tu running Windows 11 is showing a “not reading digital signature” error, it usually means that Windows is blocking a driver or boot file because it’s not properly signed or verified. This can happen after a Windows update, driver installation, or system corruption.
Here’s how to fix it:
1. Boot into Advanced Startup Options
- Hold Shift and click Restart from the Start menu.
- Select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings.
- Click Restart.
- On the next screen, press F7 to Disable driver signature enforcement.
This will allow Windows to boot temporarily without enforcing digital signatures.
2. Update or Reinstall Drivers
Once booted:
- Go to HP Notebook 14s-dr1008tu Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
- Download and install the latest:
- Chipset drivers
- BIOS/UEFI firmware
- Touchpad, graphics, and network drivers
3. Run System File Checker
To fix any corrupted system files:
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
- Type: sfc /scannow
- Press Enter and wait for the scan to complete.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
