Product: spectre x360 13-ae056tu
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey all,

 

So I want to control the fan on my Spectre as it can be very noisy. The native HP control for fan is not available to my model, can anyone suggest another software that can control the fan, preferably from HP? I know there is Speedfan, but it is not workable on my model. Any other?

I would advise strongly AGAINST what you are proposing to do.

The speed of the fan is governed by the temperature of the processor which is driven by the workload imposed on the PC.

If you FORCE the fan to run slower, the processor WILL overheat and either (1) the PC will shutdown due to thermal overload, or (2) the processor will burn out.

With new PCs, the (1) scenario is most liikely.
