Product: 2570p
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Basically need to get the latest intel patch to allow me to set a bluetooth's mic to the default mic. Currently I can see the mic in the sound option but cannot make it default until I get this patch.

Downside is hp seems to have custom intel drivers? I have already done this to 2 other pcs to fix the issue and have beentrying to figure this out for a few hours now with multiple suggestions restarts and making sure i run the install in admin mode.


Could really use some help.

The HP's Intel Video Driver has not been updated since Jul 12, 2016.

You need an Intel driver update.

 

Did you try going to Intel???

Yes, and got an invalid os message. It was suggested to try a manual install, but wanted to see if i could get an answer here before breaking something.

I guess I should post what this would normally fix. This would fix not being able to set the bluetooth mic to the default.
