You're very welcome.
I have problems too. For some reason HP has done something to make the FTP site unavailable with Edge.
So, here is the copy and paste of the BIOS information html file...
The actual BIOS file is too large for me to attach below, so I have zipped it, and uploaded it to my Skydrive folder and shared the link with you below..
Download the file labeled sp52604.zip

Hi:
HP retired support for your PC's model series since it is more than 10 years old.
Since you are running Windows 10 on your PC and the only way to update the BIOS is through Windows, and the BIOS updates were only written to be run on Windows 7, I do not recommend you update the BIOS unless you reinstall W7.
There is no telling what will happen if you try to update the BIOS using W10.
Here are the links to the last BIOS update HP released for your notebook.
You will need to log into the forum using Internet Explorer to download the files.

Thanks for that link, Paul. When I click it, nothing happens. If I go to to DOS windows and type ftp ftp.hp.com, I get
C:\Windows\system32>ftp ftp.hp.com
Connected to ftp-hpcom.glb1.hp.com.
500 OOPS: failed to open vsftpd log file:/opt/webhost/logs/vsftpd/vsftpd.log
Connection closed by remote host.
Are you having more luck?
