I am trying to update my Bios. As I go thru "hardware Diagnostics" with my flashdrive bios it asks for the Systemboard or Motherboard ID "starting with a "0" so I can select from 4 choices, 080E6.bin, 080E9.bin, 080D7.bin, 080DA.bin. The only identifying code I can find for the Mobo is 80DD but this does not help the selection. Please help me with this. Thank you

Hi
NO.
The SKU is the build number and usually has a parts list to match.
You have a Main Board from a
HP W/K PHTM ENVY 15t-ae000 BNBPC
So next you need the Board SSID to match a BIOS update to.
In no way does the BIOS for the PC you have come anywhere close to the BIOS you post.

Therefore they may only corrupt your BIOS resulting in a replacement Main Board again.
So don't do it.

I am sorry if I am confusing you, I am new to this forum and I am not used to speaking in computer terms. I have an HP Envy Notebook 15t-ae000, operating system Windows 10 64 bit, Version 10.0.18363 build 18363, SKU L4R36AV, Bios version/Date Insyde F.02, 5-11-2015,
Oh Yeah! I had a burnt motherboard so I replaced it off the internet 1.5 yrs ago so you may be seeing a mismatch. I hope this helps. I am setting this computer up from the very beginning so I will not lose anything. If we get it wrong I can always reset it-Right?
Since I am a beginner it looks like somehow this subject/inquery has become separated for the initial subject box. BDKMR
