Hi:
You need this driver for that device...
This package contains the driver for the Texas Instruments PCI (TI-PCI) Cardbus (Media Card Reader) for the supported notebook/laptop models and operating systems.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp43501-44000/sp43509.exe
Do you need the graphics driver?
You do if you see a Standard VGA adapter under the Display Adapters device manager category.
Without the graphics driver, you can't adjust the resolution, put the PC to sleep and graphics acceleration is disabled.

The link I posted works fine for me.
Unless you have been able to upgrade to IE11, the default IE8 browser hardly works on anything.
I recommend that you download and install the new Edge browser for W7, which is based on Google Chrome.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/
After you install Edge give the link another try.
The Intel graphics adapter your notebook has is not fully supported for Windows Vista or W7.
There was never a W7 driver developed for it, so you will have to manually install the Vista graphics driver as follows...
Download and run this graphics driver. You will most likely get an Unsupported operating system error. Close out of any error windows.
Intel 915GM Graphics Driver for Microsoft Windows Vista
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp34501-35000/sp34749.exe
Go to the device manager, click to expand the Display Adapters device manager category.
Click on the Standard VGA adapter listed there.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp34749.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and the driver will install.
Then restart the PC, and the graphics should be working normally, but you will not have Windows Aero.
If you still can't download the drivers after installing Microsoft Edge, let me know and I will zip up both files, upload them to my Skydrive folder, share the link with you, and you can download them from there.
