   (b) Unzip file

   (c) Run Setup file

See if this driver that I zipped up and attached below works for you.

 

Since the file has no executable, you will only be able to install this driver if the Alcor Micro SD card reader is showing up in the device manager, or there is an unknown PCI Device in the device manager (which is the Alcor Micro SD card reader in need of a driver).

 

So, if you have either one of these devices, download and unzip the file I attached to its folder.

 

Do not do anything with the files in the folder.

 

Go to the device manager.

 

Click on the applicable Alcor Micro SD card reader or PCI device needing the driver.

 

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

 

Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option, and browse to the driver folder that you unzipped.

 

Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

 

Then restart the PC and see if the SD card reader works afterward.
