Hello all,
How do I install the newest Intel graphics drivers on my laptop (Win 10; 64-bit)? I use ProBook 4540s with integrated Intel 4000, which should be compatible with OpenGL 4.3, but HP has still not provided us fitting drivers as the latest ones on HP site are only using OpenGL 4.0 .
I tried deleting the old drivers (10.18.10.5059) and installing the newest ones (15.33.47.5059) manually but they automatically downshift to the old ones.
If this is not currently possible, are there other ways to run such software? I've heard about Mesa but I'm too scared to dig into it;) Is there a possibilty of upgrading those drivers in a near future?
Thanks, Julian

That is nothing to do with HP, must be from Windows side because the list is
- 4.0 on Windows
- 4.1 on MacOS X
- 4.2 on Linux (since Mesa 17.1)
How did you run driver update ? From Windows ? You won't go pass 4.0.
Regards.
