Hello,
I have old notebook, HP ProBook 6560b LE550AV, s.n.: 4CZ1290X4Q
and I need to find drivers for these devices:
especially network controller to be able to connect to internet via wireless network (wifi), now I have to connect ethernet cable every time and it's really annoying.
Unfortunately Windows update was unable to install right driver and driver manager by HP isn't working correctly on Windows 7 anymore, so I guess that I'll have to find, download and install proper driver manually.
Would anyone please help me to find drivers for devices on the picture as I failed to find them (for Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit OS) by myself? Or even better provide me download link?
Thank you in advance for all replies and help.
Best wishes
Josef Poncar

Hi:
Please post the hardware ID for the Network Controller so I can figure out what driver it needs.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:
How to Find Drivers for Unknown Devices in the Device Manager
For the Base System Device, you need this driver:
JMicron Media Card Reader Driver

Another option is to get a cheap USB network card (wired and/or wireless model)
I also carry around some TPLink USB NIC with the latest drivers. These have much larger antennae and work better than internal cards, plus they cost under $20 Cdn and take 2 minutes to install.

Hello Paul,
thank you for your reply.
I proceeded step by step due to the description in tutorial you linked me and I found these IDs:
I originally only wanted to put into operate at least wifi adapter to be able to connect without need to plug in Ethernet connector every time, but if you can advice or provide me drivers to both devices, I would be very grateful.
Look forward to your response.

You're very welcome.
You need this driver for the Wi-Fi adapter, and I had already given you the driver for the Base system device (JMicron SD card reader driver).
