Need to remove this bloatware that is killing MY computer performance

I purchased a new Omen 15t laptop a couple years ago.  For some reason, HP felt entitled to install bloatware and now that I'm trying to remove it, it has all but taken over my computer.  Namely, McAfee.  I do not want McAfee on MY computer.  I did not ask for it.  HP made the decision that THEY would put whatever they want onto my computer and then sell it to me as a new product.  Needless to say, this is my last HP purchase ever.

So how do I remove this trojan horse software that HP put onto my computer?  I have followed the instructions and tried the McAfee removal tool but of course using that requires that you sign up for an account and download their latest software which is the exact opposite of what I want.  Since trying to remove this junk myself, my Windows Explorer is so slow that I can barely even move files around.  My internal drive speeds are over 400MB/s so it is not a hardware issue.

A) Why does HP feel that they have a right to install this bloatware that nobody has ever asked for and

B) How do I fully remove this trojan horse?

At the end of the day, that is $$$. Vendor A pays vendor B money to advertisement its products and vendor B can reduce few bucks for customers then may be customers buy product(s) from vendor A . Well, that's life.

Not just HP, other computer manufacturers do the same
