Greetings, I'm having issues with getting the correct and most up to date HP support assistant. I've tried the Generic 9 Version and Legacy version and they don't work correctly. When I run the auto update on the HP site it doesn't specify any Support Assistant.
The best one I've found that works correctly is Version 9.31.22.0, but now, I can't seem to find that download. I'm running Windows 10 64 22H2. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Respectfully,
Brian G.

Hi @Briansgaron,
Thank you for your response,
If you're having trouble finding and installing the correct version of HP Support Assistant for your HP Laptop 15, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue.
Use HP's Official Website:
- Visit the official HP Support website: HP Support.
- Enter your laptop model number or let the website automatically detect it.
- Look for the latest version of HP Support Assistant in the list of available software and drivers.
Check HP Software and Driver Downloads:
- Go to the HP Software and Driver Downloads page: HP Software and Driver Downloads.
- Enter your laptop model details and navigate to the "Software-Solutions" section.
- Look for HP Support Assistant and download the latest version available for your laptop.
Windows Update:
- Make sure your Windows operating system is up to date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and check for updates. Install any pending updates.
Uninstall Previous Versions:
- If you have an older version of HP Support Assistant installed, consider uninstalling it before installing the new version.
- Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features, find HP Support Assistant, and uninstall it.
Install from HP Recovery Manager (if available):
- Some HP laptops come with a pre-installed recovery manager that allows you to reinstall the original software. Check if HP Support Assistant is available through the recovery manager.
Remember that HP may update their software regularly, so it's generally a good idea to use the latest version available.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
