@Kimmerb-66_, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Computer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble setting up your new HP computer — I can understand how frustrating that must be! Let’s see if we can get you past the Microsoft 365 setup screen so you can start using your computer without any hassle.

Here’s what you can try:

  1. Restart the computer – Sometimes a simple reboot can help clear up any setup hiccups.
  2. If that doesn’t work, try pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del — this should bring up a menu where you can select Task Manager. From there, you can try ending the Microsoft 365 setup process and see if that helps you move forward.
  3. If you're able to get back to the desktop, try opening Settings > Apps > Installed Apps and see if Microsoft 365 is listed there. If it is, you can try uninstalling it and setting it up later.

I hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
