I found a brand new HP Stream laptop at my house. I'm trying to go through the setup and I keep getting to the BEAT THE ROBOTS puzzle. I do it, but it never allows me to continue. It keeps taking me back to do more puzzles.
Anyone????? Thanks

Hi @miandie1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I'm sorry you're stuck at the "Beat the Robots" puzzle during your laptop setup—that must be incredibly frustrating when you're eager to get everything up and running.
- Are you connected to a stable internet connection during the setup process?
- Have you tried restarting the laptop or using a different Wi-Fi network to see if the issue persists?
- Does the setup provide an option to skip or delay the "Beat the Robots" puzzle?
Let's try these steps.
Check Your Internet Connection:
- Ensure your laptop is connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network.
- If possible, switch to a different network or use a mobile hotspot to rule out connectivity issues.
Restart the Laptop:
- Hold down the power button for about 10 seconds until the laptop powers off.
- Turn it back on and try going through the setup process again.
Clear the Captcha Session:
- If you’re prompted to solve the puzzle in a web browser, press Ctrl + F5 or clear the browser cache to reset the session and reload the page.
Complete Setup Using a Different Device:
- If the setup process includes signing in with a Microsoft account, try signing in on another device to complete any verification steps. Then, return to your laptop to continue.
Reset the Laptop Setup:
- Restart the laptop, and during startup, press Shift + F11 (or Shift + F10) to access recovery options.
- Choose Reset this PC and select Remove everything to start the setup process fresh.
If these steps don't help, it might be an issue with Microsoft's setup servers or software, in which case waiting a bit before retrying might help.
