Good Day.

I am playing CoD Blackops 7. With the new Season 3 Reloaded Update, apparently something was changed in the Game's Security. I urgently need a new current TPM Version. Please HP, release a new BIOS Update...

Hi @oz76,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand your concern regarding the TPM and BIOS update in relation to your gaming experience. Could you please confirm the exact HP laptop model you are using? The BIOS and TPM updates are model-specific.

I hope this helps.

It would be great if an updated BIOS with a new TPM Version appeared in the next few Days.

Thank you very much.

A new BIOS has been released. I installed the F.07 REV.A. Unfortunately, I did not note the existing TPM version beforehand. So I don’t know if it was updated.

As I said, the latest BIOS is installed. Season 4 in CoD Black Ops 7 started yesterday. Now I am finally restricted. I still get the message that I need a current BIOS.

This is all very annoying.

Hi  @oz76,

Thanks for reaching out!

I  understand how  this must feel especially when you’ve already taken the step of updating your BIOS and still see restrictions in your game.

In the meantime, here are a few  steps you can try:

  1.  Check TPM status in Windows: Press Windows + R, type tpm.msc, and press Enter. This will open the TPM Management console where you can confirm the version and status.
  2.  Clear and re-enable TPM: In BIOS setup, look for the Security or Trusted Platform Module section. Try clearing the TPM and then re-enabling it. (Be aware this may reset stored keys, so ensure you don’t rely on BitLocker recovery keys without backup.)
  3. Verify BIOS update applied correctly: Sometimes a BIOS update may need to be re-applied or reset to defaults. Enter BIOS setup and confirm the version shows as F.07 REV.A.
  4.  Check HP Support Assistant or HP Drivers page: Ensure you’ve installed not only the BIOS update but also the latest chipset and security updates for your model.

I hope this helps.
