HP EliteBook 830 G7 Notebook PC

Had an issue with the motherboard and an HP service partner came to install a new one.

Had to reinstall Windows and wipe all data as no way to login to Windows after this hardware change.

When the Bios was updating when it came to the USB C controller part, it said it was updating from version 2.1.0 to version 2.1.0 (the same version).

See attached screenshot

I had to hard reset and the Windows installation finished. When I connected a USB C hub with my two monitors, the monitors could not be seen by the computer. (They worked perfectly before with the old motherboard)

I downloaded and ran the BIOS update software from HP and it had the same error.

Any help would be appreciated. I have just 18 days left with the warranty 😞452217714_693360826279907_8884175755749823335_n.jpg450930522_427235720278753_4154748178473760585_n.jpg
