Hello, I upgraded my laptop Pavilion Sleekbook 15-b020et with an SSD and I heard that I must switch to the AHCI mode on BIOS to use this SSD at full performance. However, I could see no AHCI option on BIOS. Does it mean this PC does not support the AHCI mode?

Hi:
I can't find any specs on your model.
If it has an Intel processor, the drive controller is set by default to AHCI or RAID and it cannot be changed.
Either setting provides support for the SSD to run at its best performance.
If it has an AMD processor, the drive controller is set by default to AHCI.
Ignore any reports from any SSD programs that your AMD drive controller is not set to AHCI.
