I use this laptop for work. In January, Microsoft did a forced update which decimated my OS. The laptop was originally purchased with Win 7 Home Premium, but I was innundated with requests from MS to updat to 10. I held out for months, but got tired of the harrassment and finally gave in; I've been working with MS level 3 global engineers to get this resolved; they claim their 10 updates aren't compatible with my model of laptop and recommended going back to 7, which I've done, however I'm getting errors that the drivers for SM Bus Controller, PCI Device, Ethernet Controller, & Network Controller aren't installed and am told on the HP product page that there are no drivers available for my product and operating system. All drivers for your machine are on the following link:
For SM Bus controller, please use chipset driver from
https://www.amd.com/en/support
For PCI: Please use Realtek card reader (Storage) on the above link
For Ethernet controller: Please use Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver on the above link
For Network controller: Please use Ralink 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter on the above link
