After updating to Windows 2004 I cannot use the USB Type C HUB (https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B08282ZJ19/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to connect the laptop to the external monitor via HDMI. If I connect the same monitor, with same cable using a USB Type C to HDMI adapter everything works fine. Unfortunately I cannot rollback to the previous Windows version.

On my laptop (HP Spectre x360 - 15-df1006nl) I used a USB Type C HUB with, among other things, also an HDMI port.
After upgrading to Windows 10 Pro x64 Version 2004 all ports of the HUB still work: only the HDMI port doesn't work. I tried to connect the laptop to the same monitor, with the same cable using a simple USB Type C --> HDMI adapter and everything works fine. I searched for updated drivers but I cannot find anything.
Any help would be much appreciated
Thank You in advance

Welcome to HP Community
I have gone through your Post and would like to help
I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
Keep me posted how it goes
Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊

Hi KrazyToad
I have already run both HPSA and Windows Update, but there Is no new driver. I also check the HP support portal (https://support.hp.com/it-it/drivers/selfservice/hp-spectre-15-df1000-x360-convertible-pc-series/260...) but all the driver are for Windows 10 1909. I'm very disappointed on how slowly HP releases the updates.

I recommend you contact the device manufacturer and check whether there are any firmware or driver updates available for Windows 2004.
Cheers!

Hi The_Fossette
I solved the problem. It was caused by the Nvidia driver. If I use the 446.14-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql version then every port of the HUB works. As soon as I move to 451.48-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql or higher then the HDMI stops working. Maybe this could help Your engineers to solve this problem for others.
