HP ZBook 17 G6 Mobile Workstation IDS Base Model.
- The exact HP product model number: Product number:6CK24AV
- Do you see any error messages in the Camera app or during video calls? Tell me there is no camera installed. I checked the BOIS, I didn't find any built-in Camera in the Built-in Devices and no listed camera in the device manager
- Is the camera listed under "Cameras" and the microphone listed under "Audio inputs and outputs" in Device Manager? When I talk the MIC doesn't type in the text box.
All these check it

Hi @Guided,
Thank you for the update .
Since you have already checked the BIOS, Device Manager, and Camera app, and the camera is not being detected, this may indicate a hardware-related issue. However, before considering service, please ensure your BIOS is up to date.
As you have also tagged Windows 10 version 22H2, If you are planning to use or upgrade to Windows 11 version 22H2, the latest BIOS available for your HP ZBook 17 G6 (Product No: 6CK24AV) is:
- HP BIOS and System Firmware (R92)
- Version: 01.35.02 Rev.A
- Release Date: May 20, 2026
- Download:HP BIOS Update .
After updating the BIOS:
- Restart the PC and load BIOS defaults.
- Run HP Hardware Diagnostics (F2) and perform the Camera and Audio tests.
- Check whether the camera appears in BIOS, Device Manager, or the Windows Camera app.
If the camera is still not detected after the BIOS update and diagnostics, please share the test results. This will help determine whether the camera hardware requires service.
