2024 HP Spectre x360 14
Microsoft Windows 11

I recently upgraded to a new Spectre x360 14 coming from an older Asus Zenbook. I wanted to know if it's possible to limit my battery charging. Going into my BIOS I have the adaptive battery optimizer enabled but I haven't noticed that doing anything. I don't have the Power Management Options or Battery Health Manager that are talked about on other HP Forums. Not sure if there is a different way to limit charging without those options. Regardless I think HP needs to create a software to do this. My 6 year old Asus laptop had one and it was very convenient to use and change based on planned usage for days where I would want the whole 100% battery. I don't think going into the BIOS is an effective way even if it did work for me.

No, there is NO battery limiter on your machine, BIOS won't help.  Please use the following guides to keep battery healthy
