Hello, i have recently got a computer from a garage sale and noticed that it doesn't have the latest bios and so i cannot download a 64 bit OS, i tried looking at the drivers page, but there was nothing. I also tried looking at a post that had the same problem, but i still couldn't find a bios, and i can't even download the hp support app or the framework. PLEASE HELP

Hi:

 

HP retires support for consumer class PCs that have reached 10 years of age.

 

What is the full model number or product number of the notebook you have?

 

You may find that it only has driver support for 32-bit operating systems because most of those models only come with tiny 32 GB eMMC flash storage drives and 2 GB of non-upgradable memory.

 

If yours is one of those, the last thing you would want to do would be to install a 64-bit OS because they require more memory and disk space to run than a 32 bit OS does.  Not double, but more.
