No space on HP Stream
07-07-2021 07:53 PM

Stream only has the OS on it and there is no room to install anything else. I can't add any cleaner app. I have 500gb external HDD but I can't install apps to it so it's virtually useless. Supposedly, Windows only uses 12.9gb(or something like that) but this one takes up 27 gb, making this a giant paperweight. HP Should be ashamed of themselves for releasing such a piece of junk.

Here are some things you can do to recover some of the disk space:

Also, the community Win10 Forums has the following suggestions:

Finally, there is a freeware app known as Wise Disk Cleaner. I use it every day to get rid of junk files: https://www.wisecleaner.com/wise-disk-cleaner.html

All these suggestions are useless. All personal files have been deleted. All programs that can be have been removed. I can't download and install any sort of cleaning program. I can't install anything. There is no room. The OS is using nearly all the HDD space. This thing can only be used to surf the internet. All I want is for my son to be able to play Roblox. That's not asking too much. HP dropped the ball and they just give you the run around when trying to resolve the issue. How about step up and offer upgrades so their product actually works?

These suggestions do NOT remove programs -- maybe you should try them before being so negative! I use them regularly to clean up space on my PC and I do not remove ANY programs.
But since you're being so nasty, you are on your own from now on.
