Hi @Slavcho

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If there is no Wi-Fi option on the first startup of your HP 255 G10 Business Laptop, here are steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Check Wi-Fi Toggle:

    • Ensure that the Wi-Fi switch or key on your laptop (often one of the F keys) is turned on. It might have been turned off accidentally.
  2. Update Network Drivers:

    • Go to "Device Manager" by right-clicking the Start button and selecting it from the list.
    • Expand the "Network adapters" section.
    • If you see a Wi-Fi or Wireless adapter, right-click it and select "Update driver".
    • Choose “Search automatically for updated driver software” to let Windows find and install it.
  3. Reinstall Network Drivers:

    • If updating doesn’t work, in Device Manager, right-click the Wi-Fi adapter and choose "Uninstall device".
    • Restart your laptop, and Windows should automatically reinstall the network drivers.
  4. Windows Updates:

    • Go to "Settings" > "Update & Security" > "Windows Update".
    • Click "Check for updates" to ensure that your system has the latest updates, which may include driver updates.
  5. Enable Wireless in Network Settings:

    • Go to "Settings" > "Network & Internet".
    • Click on "Wi-Fi" on the left panel and ensure that it is turned on.
  6. BIOS Settings Check:

    • Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing the designated key during boot (usually F10, Esc, or Del for HP).
    • Ensure that the wireless radio is enabled in the BIOS settings.
  7. HP Support Assistant:

    • Open the HP Support Assistant on your laptop if it's installed, or download it from the HP website.
    • Use it to scan for any missing or outdated drivers and install them.
  8. Check for Physical Issues:

    • Ensure that the Wi-Fi antenna connection inside the laptop is secure, although this usually requires opening the laptop, which should be done cautiously and preferably by a professional.

Hope this helps resolve your issue
