Tried several times to install the Realtek HD audio driver sp135975 (HP download page) on a new Elitebook Dragonfly G2 (Ser. 5CG137CS2D) with Win 11 pro 64 bit 21H2. The installation stops after extracting the files (see attached picture). Believe this has to do with the software wrapper and Win 11. Please help to solve this problem. Thanks, M. Zabelka

Hi, @absolon5 did you upgrade to Windows 11. It could possibly be a driver incompatibility issue. Windows 11 at the moment has issues like this because it is still in early development and so most drivers are still working for Windows 10.

Hi, @absolon5
I had the same thing happen to me on a HP Envy x360 15-ee0047nr notebook.
The service pack ran and then quit.
I explored the file location where the file created the driver folder (C:\SWSetup\sp######) and found several different driver folders for various Realtek HD audio devices.
So, what I did was to manually install the audio driver by going to the device manager, clicked to expand the Sound, video and game controllers device manager category.
Clicked on the Realtek HD audio device listed there, clicked on the driver tab, clicked on Update driver, selected the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option, and browsed to the location of the driver folder (in your case it would be C:\SWSetup\sp135975).
I made sure the Include subfolders box was checked and Windows found and installed the driver.
Then I restarted the PC.
